Travel

Quick Tips

  • Ryan Air is your best friend!

  • Pack in a backpack or tote for trips— they will charge extra for luggage + most of their roads are cobblestone so roller suitcases are kinda a pain

  • Book your trips out as early as possible to get the cheapest prices and to hold yourself accountable to going because it can be easy to get lazy and want to just ‘take it easy’ but REMEMBER you’re only living in Italy for a short amount of time… make the MOST of it!!!

  • Bring your adaptor with you everywhere… keep in mind some countries (like the UK) have different plugs than the EU

  • A lot of cabs only take Euros so make sure you either have Euros or check with your driver before leaving (learned that one the hard way :|)

  • Get the Trenitalia app to book trains

  • Skyscanner/Google Flights/ and going.com can be helpful when looking for cheap flights ( but they are all relatively cheap mwaaaahhhh the beauties of international travel)

  • The app clubbable can get you into really fun bars and clubs in big cities like Paris and London

  • Bolt & Freenow are rideshare apps like Uber that are typically cheaper in Europe

  • Alwayssssss have Euros on you

  • Text me if you have any specific questions:))))))))
